La Sinfonia num.3 in re -op 82 di Matteo Musumeci World Premiere Teatro Massimo Vincenzo Bellini on Jan. 17th & 18Th

Grande attesa per la prima esecuzione assoluta della nuova composizione sinfonica del compositore catanese Matteo Musumeci , la “Sinfonia num. 3 in re – Op. 82 “, verrà infatti eseguita in concerto dall’orchestra del Teatro Massimo V. Bellini diretta dal Maestro Francesco Di Mauro , il prossimo Venerdì 17 Gennaio alle h 20.30 ( con replica sabato 18 gennaio alle h 17.30 ) .

Dopo il grande successo riscosso lo scorso Dicembre con il “Tema d’amore” e l’Intermezzo dall’Opera Aitna , eseguite in un gremito concerto diretto dal Maestro Francesco Ommassini, la musica di Musumeci torna nel tempio della lirica Catanese , secondo concerto della Stagione sinfonica del Teatro Massimo V. Bellini.

<> racconta Musumeci, affermato compositore tra i più apprezzati ed eseguiti nel panorama della musica contemporanea internazionale << si divide in tre movimenti ed è pensata un pò come la sorella maggiore della Sinfonia num 1 detta Stormy Time – Sinfonia senza tempo ( eseguita in prima assoluta nel 2013 dall’ Orchestra Sinfonica Siciliana , e ancora in Polonia, Germania dalla Filarmonica Nazionale di Odessa etc) La Terza Sinfonia di Musumeci aprirà il concerto sinfonico, la cui seconda parte invece sarà affidata alle note celebri della Suite dal Balletto “La Strada “ di Nino Rota , colonna sonora dell’omonimo film di Federico Fellini .

A busy summer with important international events for the composer Matteo Musumeci, among the most popular symphonic composers in the international music scene.

Saturday, June 14th the first appointment will be in Poland, where His “Symphonic Suite for Orchestra” from ‘Opera Aitna will be performed on the symphonic concert of the Festival of Italian Art, Culture and Music on the city of Zamosc.

Set in the beautiful surroundings of the historic Polish city, the Festival celebrates and promotes the art and Italian music, and this year the artistic direction has chosen Matteo Musumeci, already known and loved from the Polish public for its Opera in two acts Aitna, that talks about the myths and places of Mount Etna and which made his debut in Poland on 2006 at the Opera Festival in Katowice
The Symphonic Suite from Aitna, (premiere was in 2012 on symphonic season of the Orchestra Sinfonica Siciliana), will be the overture to the concert, conducted by Maestro Tadeusz Wicherek.
It will then be performed in concert on June 26 and 27 from the prestigious “Ignacy Jan Paderewski Pomeranian Philharmony” always in Poland at the theater Ciechocinek Bydgoszcz;
The tour will continue in Germany on 20 July 10 and August 31 with the Warsaw Symphony Orchestra will perform in concert Symphonic Suite.
Another important debut, will be in Italy, in fact Matteo Musumeci, with an unpublished composition, commissioned by the Teatro La Fenice in Venice. The Premiere will be on July 11 for the prestigious Festival “The Spirit of Music ” in Venice at the Teatro La Fenice.
