Marzio Giossi from Bergamo has studied
with Clotilde Ronchi in Bologna.
He won many international competitions
and he is the “25th Mascagni d’oro 2005”
of Bagnara di Romagna. He is singing since
1984 all over the world the main roles of
more than 50 operas.
He is the real “verdiano” liric baritono and
Rigoletto is his favourite character.
He sings in the most important theatres as
La Scala, Regio di Parma, Regio di Torino,
Comunale di Firenze, Comunale di Bologna,
Massimo di Palermo, Verdi di Trieste,
Arena di Verona, Sferisterio di Macerata,
Festival Puccini di Torre del Lago, Opera

Toulouse, Opera de Avignon, Choregies
d’Orange, Opera Royal de Wallonie de Liege,
Grand Theatre de Geneve, Guadalajara
Opera, Malta Opera, Osaka Opera, Bunka
Kaikan of Tokyo, Classic Openair Festival of
Solothurn, Baalbeck Festival and SantanderFestival.

He has been directed by many famous
conductors as Abbado, Muti, Gavazzeni,
Myung Whun Chung, Steimberg, Oren,
Guingal, Pidò, Guadagno, Arena, Renzetti
and Veronesi.
He has recorded cd and dvd as Pagliacci,
Caterina Cornaro, Rigoletto, Maria
Stuarda,, Simon Boccanegra, Macbeth,
La Marescialla d’Ancre, La fanciulla del
west, Don Pasquale, La Rondine and some
recitals.
